I need Advice- Is this ethical?

Okay, my mom's back has been killing her lately.  She can't bend down to get things or get up from recliners.  I really was to do a spell that would help her back heal or at the very least, ease the pain.

The problem is: She's Christian, she doesn't believe in magick and I've read that you shouldn't ever do magick for someone without their consent/knowledge.  I hate seeing my mom suffer but I'm hesitant to do anything because of this.

I would love to have some advice.  Is this ethical?  What are the possible repercussions?  Any particular things to use in a spell like this?

No...You would be infringing on her beliefs..not good...If you want to help her ,research some herbal remedies which might relieve some of her pain until she can get to a doctor..

What I do in a situation like this is that I send the healing energy out for the individual to use at will. I believe that when a body is in pain, that it seeks comfort and relief on some level. Putting the energy out there for the body to use if they wish is the best thing I can suggest. Have you tried just praying with your mom? It doesn't have to be anything elaborate, and you don't have to compromise your faith or hers. You could just hold hands and pray silently, each to the diety of your understanding.

On the ethics front, look at it like this: Would you want someone holding you down and giving you a shot if you did not want it? You're sorta treading the same path.

Now, the comment above contains a very good suggestion.
