    My fish are nuts

Monday, January 28, 2008, 11:46 AM EST [Animals]

I have a tank (about one gallon) with 5 tetras and a few dozen little pond snails.  I just bought a small ornament cave for the tetras cause I'm hoping they'll be less spaztastic if they have a nice place to hide at times and the stupid this only fits one way in the tank, and I have to turn the tank around backwards just to see anything!  I have a feeling they'll be staying in the cave for a good long while.

My snails I may have to get rid of, as much as I love watching them randomly float upwards in the tank, they're starting to reproduce again and I'm pushing my tank as it is.  I may keep one, I have one that's a lot bigger than the rest that I may keep.  Oh well.  It's either get rid of them or scrape eggs off the sides of the tank and still get rid of snails.

After college I may invest in a larger tank, much larger like a 10 or 15 gallon.  though i can't have snails then because they eat the glue stuff that holds them together.  Also I need to really start reading how big fish grow to be, I bought a plectosomus and had to take him back cause they grow 20+ inches.

I wish everyone has a wonderful day! Blessed be!

    Ouija Boards

Friday, January 25, 2008, 09:34 PM EST [General]

My friends and I tried a ouija board tonight, it was an online one but I think we made contact with a spirit.  It was kinda freaky.  I had never tried something like that before and we couldn't get it to work so I tried it by myself and it worked on the first question.  I asked "Is someone here?" and it went straight to "yes".  Which wouldn't have been so creepy if I hadn't felt something.  My arm just felt...I don't know how to describe it any other way than weird.  It felt like something was moving my hand and I know it wasn't me because the thing landed dead center (no pun intended) on yes and my eyes were closed!  We really couldn't get anything else cause I got really freaked out and for some reason I think it was a 'he'.  I asked for a name and it landed on 'A' and then I asked a yes or no question and got "e" "d" "q" "p".  I don't know what that means.  My hand afterwards was cold and clammy and my heart was going a mile a minuet.  I'm not certain if I want to try again anytime soon.

In other news, My friends and I are going to a shop to buy supplies for my first spell that I wrote myself!  All we need is a quartz but we may get more.  :)

    Blessed be!

    Merry Yule and Happy Christmas!

Friday, December 21, 2007, 04:45 PM EST [General]

Merry Yule and Happy Christmas Covenspace!  This will be my first year actually celebrating Yule and Christmas together this year, and I'm kinda excited!  I have all month off from school and I am bored stiff!  Except when I'm babysitting my nephews and neice.  X.X

Noah, one of my nephews, is showing interest in magic.  I'm not real sure how to approach the subject because both his parents are devout Christians so....yea kinda akward.  I love them and I really want to teach them some basic magic skills but I've only been practicing for about a year (Still can't get spells to work) and I like being able to visit them.  So I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place.  Especially since Noah doesn't want to do spells, he wants me to cast one on him.  I don't see that going over well.  But I'll show him some of my books and tell him that I won't cast spells on him and pray to whatever deity will listen that he'll drop me casting on him!

Anywho, I got to see some friends back in town so I'm happy!  Got to go merry part!

    ....Was that a pentacle?

    Sunday, December 2, 2007, 02:44 PM EST [Spiritual/Religious]

I was driving my friend to bowling class the other day and we passed by a catholic hospital and was shocked slightly by catching sight of a pentacle made from a giant wreath and lights on the side of the building.  I couldn't help it, I laughed from surprise.   My friend asked what was so funny so I told her, and when she said she didn't quite get why it was so funny I told her why (the reason is because it is mostly used by pagans, witches, satanists use a version of it, etc.. and most christians hate it.)  and she asked me not to use the "s" word.

    "What you mean Satanist?"
    "Yea."
"Why?  You know the ones I've talked to don't actually worship Satan, they just make him a symbol-"

"Can we not talk about religion please."

I was kinda confused about that, now I like this girl she's sweet but she has this little habit of dragging her religion into everything.  We could be talking about tv and she'd make comments on how star of show "A" was going to hell for some such reason.  We weren't even talking about religion and it surprised me and another friend.  She also knows that I am not Christian and am a Witch, she has threatened to take me to church several times mostly because I loose track of what day it is and have accidentally texted her during service.

I don't want to confront her about it but it's getting on my nerves on how she will say stuff like that and when I voice my opinions about similar things she imediatly says "Let's not talk about religion please."   Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?

Please help me on my report!

Monday, October 8, 2007, 12:24 PM EST [General]

Hey, I'm doing a report for English class about the differences between witchcraft and wiccanism and I need some good sources.  I was thinking that the people on this site would be the best place to start becuase they know what they are talking about.  You can use yourself as a source, or give a good, reliable internet source or a book that I can use.  Thanks for your time!
